The Rosa Twins juniors from West Windsor Plainsboro High School, New Jersey. Are they as good as they appear? So far this Cross Country season they seem to be cruising through the meets they have run.
Joe Rosa ran a 15.04 early in the season his brother James Rosa ran a 15.16 as well. At the Sectionals they both cross the finish line together with the same time. One week later in the Group Championships at Holmdel they crossed the finish line with identical times 15.37 it would appear their coach is holding them back. It seem they are just running to win their races in New Jersey. Right now they are much better than the competition and looking at the Nationals as the place to really put out 100 percent.
They are in their junior year and are the favorites to be the top two finisher in the New Jersey Cross Country State meet November 21, 2009. Look for Tyler Udland senior from Millburn High School, who is also the 2008 reigning champion who ran a 15.03 this season. I also like Jonathan Vitec from Haddonfield Memorial High School who ran a 15.24 at his sectionals.
