Salim Corbin from Patterson East Side High School ran a 16.51 at the New Jersey State Cross Country Championship, Saturday November 21. He ran the 5k in 16.03 which was his personal best.
Look for Salim on the track in the mile and the two mile. He is the 2008 outdoor Group 4 sectional champion in the mile, and he has run 4.05 in the 1500m which is also a personal best for him.
Salim is a senior and looking forward to a great indoor and outdoor season.
